The 24th Annual OCFF Conference is being held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ottawa from October 14-17, 2010. Once again, we will be relying on an excellent team of volunteers to make it all run smoothly. We are now using “Volunteer Impact” software to simplify the recruiting and scheduling of volunteers and facilitate improved communication between you and the OCFF.
If you are interested in volunteering the steps you will need to take to get yourself up and running on this system are outlined below. Please log in and complete your profile as soon as possible.
You can indicate which activities/shifts you are interested in, keeping in mind that all volunteers must commit to a minimum of twelve (12) hours in order to receive complimentary conference registration. The more flexibility that you have regarding your activity interests and availability, the more likely we will be able to accommodate your preferences.
Please note that a limited number of volunteers are required for the conference, and not all applicants will be selected as volunteers. In the event that you apply before the June 30, 2010 Early Bird conference registration deadline, and are not selected as a volunteer, you will still be entitled to the Early Bird rate for one week after your notification.

Congratulations – you’ve signed up! The Volunteer Coordinator will be approving what you have input regarding your qualifications and the shifts you are available, and will assign you shifts to fulfill your volunteer commitment. You should receive a confirmation email with any necessary further instructions.
